Lasertechnology

The aim of the lecture is to give students a basic understanding of the properties of laser light and its effect on the interaction with matter. Subsequently, various possibilities for generating laser radiation are shown. Based on these principles, various applications of the laser as a tool in production technology, in metrology and other areas are discussed. A deeper understanding of the topics mentioned can be gained in the corresponding excercise.
