In the context of the lecture ‘Light in Medical Technology’ and the corresponding exercise, the geometric optics and wave optics are first of all deepened with a focus on medicine. Part of the lecture is also the structure and function of relevant optical devices in medical technology and the interaction mechanisms with biological tissue.
