The Application Center Additive Manufacturing has been initiated by the Institute of Photonic Technologies together with the Bayerisches Laserzentrum GmbH in 2018. The Application Center supports companies by offering practice-oriented seminars providing hands-on experience in laser based additive manufacturing. Additionally it facilitates companies to carry out own R&D projects accessing the infrastructure of two experience research institutes in the field of laser materials processing.
